Additional Extensions ?

Post by Spidak »

I'm using a vpn and No Script with Firefox on a Linux PC .

I also have additional extensions such as Privacy Badger , Ad Block Plus , Cookie Auto Delete and a few others as well .

My question is with No Script and a VPN are all the others even necessary or is it overkill to be using all the other extensions ?

If other extensions are indeed a good idea for security , which ones would be reccommended ?

Thank You .

Moving to Security.

NoScript + uBlock Origin should be enough cover most security needs. Note that using multiple adblocker type extensions together is known to cause issues, so don't use both Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin in the same browser profile.

You could use something like Netmon to have the option to keep more of an eye on what your browser is requesting & what requests are/aren't being blocked.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
