[Resolved] Hotmail is BLANK now

I can't use my Hotmail account now!

I was working in my Hotmail account and all I did was click on "SAVE" draft, when NoScript showed a pop-up sign informing me that Hotmail was trying to use cross-scripting on me! This has happened twice before recently since the newest NoScript update, but somehow I managed to bypass the problem. THIS TIME, a blank page showed up and my Hotmail was gone from view!

(1) I have added no new extensions recently so that is not the problem.
(2) I tried allowing all scripts, etc., but to no avail.
(3) I disabled NoScript, but this still did not solve the problem. I could go to the Hotmail sign-in page, but after clicking to get into the account, ONLY A BLANK PAGE SHOWS UP!

What has happened and how do I get this corrected so that I can use my Hotmail account, again???? I find this absolutely hard to believe. Can anyone help me...ASAP?

P.S. I know, everyone wants an answer ASAP, but it doesn't hurt to ask for it, right?

Anyway, after trying several times to get into my Hotmail account, even logging off my computer, at one point, I was simply allowed to have access to the account, again...with no blank page showing now!

Ok...I sure am curious though if this is going to happen again or not!

ALSO, of note is that NoScript had previously flagged my Ixquick search engine (now called Start Page) as trying to cross-script on me when simply typing a URL and hitting enter, and it did this a few times! It hasn't done that for awhile now, so maybe that part is ok.

STILL...does anyone have any idea as to what caused this with my Hotmail event????

This hints either to a temporary server-side or network problem unrelated to NoScript (the XSS warning might have been just a coincidence) or to some misconfiguration which has been persisted through a cookie. Next time it happens (I hope it doesn't) try to clear your cookies.

Or get a cookie-managing addon, and clear just the Hotmail cookies - that will cause less damage...
Personal recommendation: I use CS Lite and love it. Of course, that might not be the case for you... but I'd definitely suggest a cookie manager.

Or just remove the hotmail cookies using Firefox!
Tools->options->privacy->show cookies
Note that the cookies might be live.com and login.live.com

I have NoScript 2.0.3.2.

I am using Firefox, specifically "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10"

A few days ago, I was reading my Hotmail. There was an annoying vertical ad on the right side. I right clicked on what seemed to be the frame of the add and forbade it to show.

The entire Hotmail window went blank. It shows only the background color (white, on my browser).

I can read Hotmail just fine using Internet Explorer.

What can I do to bring Hotmail back in Firefox? Thanks!

Exactly what did you select to forbid it?
1) If you used the Firefox built-in "Block Images from..." selection, then open the Tools > Options > Content > Load images automatically > Exceptions window. You may have blocked too much. Remove the block from that window.
2) If you use Adblock Plus, then see if temporarily disabling ABP by middle-clicking the ABP icon makes the problem go away.

Glory be! You were right. I temporarily disabled Adblock Plus and poof! There was Hotmail. Thank you so very much!
