NoScript blocks websites

Post by rschalie »

Even though websites have been set to "trusted", NoScript seems to keep blocking them: in those situations there is a faint red "shadow" visible around the "S" symbol. In that situation the browser window does not accept input or mouse actions.
This happens both in the Brave and the Firofox browser.

Edit: this only happens for some websites not all.

Could you please post a screenshot of this?

Does the problem persist if you disable hardware acceleration, in either browser, if it's not already disabled? For how to do this in Firefox see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tr ... celeration

I've tried with hardware acceleration off, but that does not seem to make a difference. And it happens across Brave and Firefox consistently for the same websites. I've tried to upload a screenshot, but I'm not sure it worked (I seem to have to upload the image somewhere and then include an URL. I've used the URL of the image in Google Photo, but I'm not sure that works (due to security))).

@rschalie,

Your "Image" link is not a valid "hotlink".

If it happens consistently on some websites, could you please provide example URL(s)?
