NoScript window opened via context menu cuts off almost half of the right icon (i.e. the window is too small)

Post by musonius »

The window that opens via the context menu item cuts off the right side of the last icon (and most likely the text of very long domains).

I am using the latest dev version of NoScript 11.4.19rc3 and Firefox Developer Edition 112.0.b3 on Windows (FullHD screen, 100% magnification).

I guess, this imperfection is likely to have existed for some time now.

Not able to confirm on my end.
Win7. FF Nightly & 11.4.19rc3. 1600x900 100%.

Any .css tweaks on your end?

If you change from Dark to Light &/or Vintage Blue icons, does that make any difference?
If you resize your FF window?

If you test in a new, clean Profile with only NoScript installed?

Not seeing this here either, although when testing I did see an issue with that window, but that's for another thread
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

I already tested that on a clean profile without changing any setting, but not with different theme settings. I don't use any .css tweaks.

So I repeated the test: fresh profile (everything default), different icons, dark or light, and any combination did not change the result.

Resizing Firefox did not help either. Resizing the NoScript window shows the full icon, but it is cut of after reopening the window again.

In the meantime I have tested it on my machine at work. Fresh profile (Firefox Developer Edition, NoScript latest RC). The Icon is cut off as well.

Might your Windows theme be playing into what is happening?
If you start your computer up into Safe Mode... ?
