jnn-pa.googleapis.com

Post by 8-bit »

This just started today....

Went to YouTube, everything looked fine. Clicked on a vid - still all ok. Put the video into full screen mode and the layout on the screen went haywire. Long story short: I can't play YouTube vids in full screen mode without allowing jnn-pa.googleapis.com. I have always had this set to untrusted in the past and everything worked fine, but as of today I cannot watch a video in full screen without setting it to trusted.

I did some research on the domain, and it is a German company - not owned by Google. It is not a malicious domain, but I do believe there is some kind of tracking involved. Right now I have it (reluctantly) set to trusted. See: https://tipsforefficiency.com/jnn-pa-googleapis-com/

Can anyone repro? It would help a lot to know if this is the case for other users as well.

Using FFX 107.0 and the most recent version of NS. Again, never had problems in the past until today.

Thanks!

No issue here. (I'm on 109a.)

Play.
F (Full screen)
F (out of Full screen)

All well.

Test in a new, clean Profile, with only NoScript added, & see if you still have the same issue?

Hmmmm..... re-restricted jnn-pa.googleapis.com and everything seems to be working fine.

I'll have to call this one an anomaly for now....

Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated!
