hideurl.biz support

Post by bbutton »

I just discovered Flashgot, and was excited to see hideurl.biz support listed as a feature, but it's not working for me. Rather than producing Rapidshare links (the way lix.in is), I'm getting stuff like: http://www.hideurl.biz/link.php?id=IrT&nr=5&type=r1.

I'm guessing they've broken your workaround somehow. And I'm using Flashgot 1.1.8 with FF 3.0.7 on Windows XP if that's relevant.

I've just tried to create two links, http://hideurl.biz/H5J (single, pointing to http://noscript.net ), and http://hideurl.biz/H5p (multiple, pointing to 3 URLs), and they're both working for me, with FlashGot getting all the "hidden" links at once.

Are you sure the links failing for you are not actually dead?
If not, could you show me some?

I get the same results from Net Transport.
(Giorgio's links work as expected.)

(When I load the hideurl.biz site - WHOA NELLY, it is making like a zillions connections or something or the other. I'll generally go anywhere, do anything, but that is one site I can count on skipping in the future. Forbidding I/FRAME may lessen the impact.)

it's awesome :)
I think i searchin somethin like this....

i have a list of urls like this:
http://s2.fsx.hu/2008/12/23/00/09/12d17 ... ip.hun.sfv
it's a rapidshare like site, which (with a greasemonkey script) keeps refreshing until the download is available. Then gm-script activate the download, and firefox get the file. When download is done, i'm able to open the next url, and the gm-script do the rest. (wait again, and activate the download).

It is posible with flashgot to get the url-s in this way? (open the first, let the gm-script wait and get it, open the next, and so on...)
Is there any howto, which describes the way of downloading and building the source-code of flashgot, maybe cvs/git repository?
(Sorry if theese are RTFM questions, and thans for any help)
