NoScript blocks script on allowed website

Post by NoScriptUser1337 »

Hello,

I am using NoScript with Chrome now for a very long time at work and now I am experiencing a strange problem. We are using for our requirements engineering the software Polarion (from Siemens). I have our main network domain (maindomain.net) whitelisted in NoScript. To access Polarion I browse to "polarion.maindomain.net". That worked always like a charm in the past without any issues.

Since today however, the website is no longer loading and I am getting an error message from Polarion saying:
error.clientdefinition.colon
(EvalError) : Refused to evaluate a string as JavaScript because 'unsafe-eval' is not an allowed source of script in the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'none'".
If I check the NoScript icon it shows me that 1 thing was blocked and when I hover over it it shows me this:

If I click on NoScript all it shows me on the list is the "maindomain.net" which is set to "allowed"...
If I now switch to an other tab in Chrome and switch back to the original tab where I tried to load Polarion, the number on the NoScript icon is gone and when I hover over it, it shows me:
Image

(The icon is in all cases always the white one with the S, never the one with the forbidden sign)

When I deactivate NoScript everything works normal. I tried also to reset all settings and whitelist everything again but that doesn't fix it. It seems NoScript is blocking a script but I don't know why or what I have to do to prevent the blocking. Also I have no clue why the problem just started to happen today...

I would suggest keep an eye on viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26518 and when that issue is fixed, please let us know if this one too is resolved by the same fix.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Thank you for the hint. I will keep an eye on it! It is "nice" to see that I am not the only one with a problem. This keeps the hopes high that it will be solved eventually.

Problem seem to be solved with the new version (11.2.21).
After the update, my issue with Polarion is no longer present and everything works like it did in the past. Thanks!
