Site Not Working Properly until NS disabled

Post by kukla »

Site: walgreens.com

With 4 items showing, 4 items enabled, Menu-Selected Store not functioning

With NS disabled, Menu-Selected Store functions

Stranger still-real head scratcher: After Firefox (91.4.1esr) quit and reopen, with NS enabled, many more items showing in NS:

Your first set of screenshots shows walgreens.com Default but your last one shows it Temp. Trusted, could that be related?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

First, thanks very much for posting.

Not sure any longer what is going on. My head is spinning after trying so many different things. That said, I think that the the screenshot showing walgreens at default was saved just to show the NS items - only 5 - before disabling/re-enabling. Have to think that I couldn't have missed that and that I must have allowed walgreens the first time when the site wasn't working completely.

However, just quit FF, cleared cache, and reopened (again), and now the Menu-Selected Store functions are both working. Plus the full palate of NS items is showing. So either a red herring or I'm losing my marbles, or both. One thing at least appears to be valid (at least on the first try): that only after quitting NS and re-enabling did I get to see the full list of NS items. Other than that :?

In any case, thanks again for posting and your reply.
