i dont think it's an extension conflict, since i only have noscript as an extension, plus as i said ive been using this combination (ubuntu+firefox+noscript) since ages and only recently it's giving me this issue which i'm not sure but it seems linked to the last updates. whatever i need to post here, or to try out, please let me know because i really luv noscript :D

General post re UBUNTU and ADOBE FLASH running in Fx

First: there is generally an addon running at the same time as NS in Fx 3.0.13 - Ubuntu Firefox Modifications. it's supposed to simply regularise package management so that updates to extensions can be flagged through Synaptic. However it does much more - including branding Fx with Ubuntu looks, and users have found that it messes with themes and other extensions. Most advanced users of Fx disable it with no ill effects. A Standard Diagnostic should still be undertaken even if the only other extension besides NS is that one.
Second: Adobe Flash has been the source of many Ubuntu bugs - see launchpad for the full list which I believe numbers over 1500. One Flash bug gets swatted and another 3 jump up. Many of the bugs related directly to any reloading or navigating away from a page with Flash content. Many still relate to X and Compiz and ATI drivers.
Third: Adobe Flash has been recently updated via Synaptic, so NS is not the only variable in Fx in Ubuntu systems in the recent past.

I disabled that add-on like you suggested (I didn't even know it was there) restart ff but nothing changed, same thing; I know that Flash is the source of many bugs and before to get here I've gone through many forums, searches, support irc channels, etc but of course i didnt solve the prob, I have an Nvidia card so no Ati Drivers, indeed noscript and flash always worked well, the X is the one from Ibex not the new-but-incompatible-and-buggy one from Jaunty, plus I tried both with Compiz or without it (with metacity of course) but once again, nothing; true is that Flash has been recently updated but it's also true that the cause of the prob in this case seems to be NoScript's flash block, indeed it all goes well if scripts are globally allowed, it does not if I am allowing them temporary for a session. It seems to me the issue is about the interaction between flash and ns, probably caused by ns rather than flash.

I really hope you guys will come up with a solution, because as i said, you've done a great job with noscript, it's a really useful security tool, and i'd like to keep using it :D

I've got an update, it's kind of weird but I found out how to make it work, at least on youtube.com for now:
before i was temporary allowing youtube.com and ytmg.com and it was getting stuck all the times, now i tried "allow all this page"
and it works, so i thought there was some new 2nd level domain's script to be allowed, but then i re-tried the original procedure
(emporary allowing youtube.com and ytmg.com) on a windows os, and it perfectly works, so it's not because of it. Still there has
to be something else, something anyway linkes to these 2 ways of giving permissions to the scripts, if given one by one it gets stuck
if given all together it works... ??

Hope that'll help

here there is the output of firefox launched from a terminal, I think it shows what the actual problem is, also if i dont understand much of it

http://paste.ubuntu.com/261489/

it ends with "terminated" because i had to kill it from tt1 in order to be able to work on my desktop again.

Hope also this will help

Unluckily not, it just shows you had to abort the program :(

@max
I'm sorry it's not working without bugs for your system.
You may do a lot better by participating in launchpad, if you want support for Adobe Flash in Ubuntu.
This thread is a good example of the kind of help you may be able to muster up in there
