Mix of reactions there from outright disdainful, cynical-distrustful, as in sold-out, so bye, bye, to shrugs, to wait and see, to a very few who are welcoming.
Me, I don't know what to make of it. Presentation of what this means seems all just a bit too fudgy. Alex keeps stressing that nothing's changed, that this group is focused not on advertisng, but on "syndication", whatever that's supposed to mean. Think we're edging very close to euphemism territory with that, if not not fully inside. Further, he seems to say it means nothing more than an "arrangement" whereby all proceeds from Bing go the CA group (wolves costumed as sheep?), and are no longer split. But "sold to" "aquired by" has to have some real meaning. Can only wait and see. I never really thought that an ambitious enterprise like WF, growing as it had to include builds and versions all over the place was sustainable by one person. So hopefully with adequate resources, and if things don't go full-on venal.

Why?
Did something change with WF between last week & today?
(Now going forward, I guess you'll have to keep abreast of what's happening...)
