I just installed FLashGot and prefer it to Video Downloader for embedded files.
However, the FireFox (windows) download dialog now includes an option for FlashGot and, somehow, PDFs default to be loaded by Acrobat, even though I set the Firefox preferences to download them to a file.
I looked at all the FlashGot options and do not see a setting to remove it from this dialog while keeping the status bar function for pages with embedded files. How can this be set?

Re: how to disable download handler extension?
There's no way to remove the download handler, but on the other hand it should have no side effect.
Are you sure the culprit is FlashGot? Does the problem persist after disabling it from Tools|Add-Ons?
