Win 7 x64 + Kaspersky AV + NS locks up system
Hello, I am running the Win 7 Evaluation build 7100 x64. Running Firefox 3.5.2 and the evaluation Beta of Kaspersky Anti virus my system locks up when I try and update noscript. My entire computer messes up and it forces Kaspersky to shut down, and then when I am forced to cold reboot and do so, Kaspersky attempts to report a minidump but can't do it.

Does it happen for NoScript only, or any extension you try to update?
Please try to install any older version of one of your extension (on AMO there's a "View older versions" link on the bottom of each add-on page), restart your browser and then try to upgrade.
You may want to report this issue to Kaspersky guys and to Mozilla as well.

No, it's just with no script. I have contacted Kaspersky, though they don't make it easy to report problems with their beta.

Its not NoScript, this problem is with Kaspersky's integration with the Vista/7 core. This was reported by someone running x86 and it was found to not be an issue with the Win 7 or Vista installations. Its the Kaspersky permission issue, they should have a reset tool that will clear that up, check with their support and there is also a small patch for Vista which will fix the 7 issue as well.

Thank you, I gave up on Kaspersky before reading this reply. I'll run Norton for a while and then see what to do. Much appreciated.
