Disable restrictions "for this tab" and "globally" seem not to have the same effect on the currently opened tab.
For example, go to https://watch.nba.com/game/20190509/TORPHI. When all scripts are blocked the "Game Recap" video does not play. If I click "Disable restrictions for this tab" it still does not play. However, if I click on "Disable restrictions globally" it does play.
I think there should be no difference in functionality for the current tab.

You think correctly.
What version of NoScript are you using?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Sorry for the slow reply. I am using version 10.6.1. It has been like that for a long time and affects several other pages as well.

Re: Disable restrictions "for this tab" and "globally" work differently on "this tab"
It might be that "Disable restrictions for this tab" does not deal properly with script that are later loaded on the tab. Here is another example:
https://www.tagesschau.de/europawahl/eu ... v-101.html
When the page is set to "Disable restrictions for this tab" it will reload and show that all restrictions are disabled. However, once I scroll down further scripts are loaded. These scripts are still restricted and a number for the restricted scripts appears in the NoScript symbol. But this seems to be inconsistent with the "Disable restrictions for this tab" choice.

Maybe someone can at least confirm the problem? ...

I can reproduce your problem with Firefox 67 and NoScript v10.6.3rc7.

Do you need to be logged in to see, https://watch.nba.com/game/20190509/TORPHI ?
While the number does appear in the NoScript symbol, how do you know if the scripts actually loaded or not - regardless of what the symbol shows (which AFAIK is often wrong?)?once I scroll down further scripts are loaded. These scripts are still restricted and a number for the restricted scripts appears in the NoScript symbol.

Great, thanks!
No need to be logged in you might have to slightly scroll dows to see the recap video. It has to be started manually.therube wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 12:01 pm Do you need to be logged in to see, https://watch.nba.com/game/20190509/TORPHI ?
The only additional clue I have is that it does not work.therube wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 12:01 pmWhile the number does appear in the NoScript symbol, how do you know if the scripts actually loaded or not - regardless of what the symbol shows (which AFAIK is often wrong?)?once I scroll down further scripts are loaded. A twitter video (https://twitter.com/ms_nette09/status/1 ... 9834218496, possibly other stuff too) fails to show up with only 'Disable restrictions for this tab".
(Allow Globally works.)
