Hello.
I use Firefox 45 ESR and Flashgot.
But I can not download videos from xvideos.com.
Please, help solve the problem.

There is a .m3u8 & there are .ts files.

Sometimes .m3u8 can be of benefit in downloading, but in this case seems not.
The .m3u8 does give a count of the individual .ts files (x-number of seconds, each), which can be seen (by other programs) & can be downloaded & then can be concatenated, output to a file clip.

There is an actual .flv - somewhere (also not seen by FlashGot), & if you knew all the different pieces to put together to generate a link that XV likes, that would work too.

Nothing straight forward that I see or that I know how to figure out.


There are sites that do "put these things together", generating links, that then work.

Oh, I forgot...

Set the Preference, media.fragmented-mp4.enabled, to 'false'.*

With that, the link will generally turn up.
Might need to put the video in Full Screen, then return back to normal.
For whatever reason, that kind of "jogs" FlashGot Media to display the icon for download.

Unfortunately forced to abandon the use of Flashgot.
Flashgot a lot of things can not. And it is not easy to use.
However, it does not slow down the browser launch. Firefox start very fast. The only advantage.
Video downloadhelper can do everything, but the Firefox starts 5 seconds longer.
Since you can not (or will not) do anything, the topic can be closed.
