[Firefox 84.0.2 / NoScript 11.1.9]
SyncBackPro (a file backup program) generates a html report after running if there's something to report.
A typical report name is file:///C:/Users/Paulo/AppData/Local/2BrightSparks/SyncBackPro/Logs/2_2%20(O-T)_Log_Page4.html
I can't read the report if NoScript is activated.
Have already added "file://" to the PerSitePermissions to no avail.
Did not find a similar problem on FAQ or searching for "file:" on the forum.

Re: file:// blocked
Could you please send me your NoScript Options>Export file for analysis (my email address is on the top right of https://maone.net)? Thanks.

You need to add
... and leave the lock symbol red and unlocked.
But IIRC getting it to take was a bit finicky. Try first resetting to DEFAULT any other file:// type permissions you have, then restarting Firefox, then adding this entry?
Code: Select all

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
