It seems that Ubuntu now includes wget.
I have not yet tried wget.
In Ubuntu 9.04, currently with Firefox 3.0.12, Will FlashGot work with the built-in wget?
Or, would I do better with aria or d4X?
Note that I saw a posting recently that D4X is no longer being developed/supported.
If true, that would rule out D4X.
P.S. Is the same .xpi file used for Firefox in Linux as in Windows? Or, is it a separate download?
Ubuntu - wget

Re: Ubuntu - wget
When booted to Ubutu, the Ubuntu system has no ttrouble access files on the Vista system.
I think that you just need to set up the shares on the Windows XP system.
I do mo yuet know enough about Ubuntu to go the other way,

I would suspect, yes. Will FlashGot work with the built-in wget?
Code: Select all
+ Native support for wget via xterm on Linux
