how to automatically download multiple pages

Post by JohnnyC35 »

I've been trying to get wget to download multiple pages from eztv and get the .torrent files but I cant seem to be able to do that. Flashgot will get the torrent files but only on one right-clicked page after another. Would there be a way to feed flashgot websites from a command line or have it download all torrents from 'http://eztv.it/page_*'; so that it goes thru http://eztv.it/page_1, http://eztv.it/page_2, http://eztv.it/page_3, etc ? Thanks for any thoughts on this.

You should be able to use the Build Gallery command for this.

I don't think Build Gallery will do it?
Oh, you mean with JavaScript, well then ...

Not sure why FlashGot isn't picking anything up?

Perhaps because of the "style" of the links, the way they are written?

If you add "magnet" to FlashGot (Options | Downloads -> Extensions) it will pick up the magents, but doing so for torrent doesn't seem to help?

Yet on oo bittorrent downloads, you can simply FlashGot selection (irrespective of "torrents") & it will pick up those torrents?

DownThemAll does see the torrents, though I don't think that they're all being picked up with that?

I don't see how the Gallery is suppose to work.
When I right click on http://eztv.it/page_1 it will pick up all the torrent files. But what I am looking for is for the program, or a wget statement that will then go thru page 2, 3, 4, and onwards, and picking up the torrents from those pages. Rather than manually going to each page an clicking Flashgot.

Oh, I get it. Not sure whether wget can do this; it's meant to be recursive, but I haven't really tried it out...

See if the release of FlashGot v1.5.4.3 helps: http://flashgot.net/getit
(Looks like it should pick up the torrents on a page, though not traversing them.)
