Latest NoScript version (1.9.2) breaks Adblock Plus
Latest NoScript version (1.9.2) breaks Adblock Plus
After updating NoScript, I noticed that ABP completely stopped working, i.e. nothing is blocked. The "Blockable items" tab only displays element hiding rules. Same result with noscript.cp.last on or off.
I'm 100% sure that 1.9.2 is causing the problem. Reverting back to 1.9.1.91 fixed my problems.

@lunboks:
does it happen consistently on any web site (beside flashgot.net and noscript.net, which deploy many tricks to work-around ABP)?
If so, could you try Standard Diagnostic keeping both ABP and NS installed and check if something changes?

Yes, any web site.Giorgio Maone wrote:does it happen consistently on any web site (beside flashgot.net and noscript.net, which deploy many tricks to work-around ABP)?
It seems like another extension might be causing it, with only NS and ABP, both do what they should. Strange, the bug started right after I updated NoScript.Giorgio Maone wrote:If so, could you try Standard Diagnostic keeping both ABP and NS installed and check if something changes?
Looks like I'll have to re-enable my extensions one by one.

Re: Latest NoScript version (1.9.2) breaks Adblock Plus
Well, I really don't get it.
Apparently, Live HTTP Headers was causing this. As soon as I enabled it, ABP stopped working. If I re-enable everything except Live HTTP Headers, it works perfectly. BUT, if I start Firefox with only ABP, NS, and Live HTTP Headers, that too works. I'm a bit confused.

OK, disregard that last post. The combination of Live HTTP Headers, ABP and NS always breaks.

Which particular version of FF 3.0 are you running? (Appears 3.0.9 fixes may be causing some breakages.)
I run the same trio of extensions, seemingly without problem in both SeaMonkey 1 & SeaMonkey 2 (too, tutu, also ).

Re: Latest NoScript version (1.9.2) breaks Adblock Plus
Same problem for me. I reverted to Version 1.9.1.91 before to do any tests.
ps: AB+ and noscript do not work both with this version. Noscript blocks nothing, et AB+ does not list anything.

- On Firefox 3.0.9 (stable) ABP breaks when both NoScript and LiveHttpHeaders are enabled
- On Shiretoko the both break, no matter the extension version or other extension involved

Re: Latest NoScript version (1.9.2) breaks Adblock Plus
I wanted to do some tests, but it was on another computer, and with a similar profile yet, I wasn't able to reproduce this strange behavior. :/
I'll try again in a couple of days.

I wonder why this didn't happen to me? Mine works fine, nothing broke.
Did you try the latest dev build?

Re: Latest NoScript version (1.9.2) breaks Adblock Plus
Hello friends
I try et in a new clean Profile only Add-ons Adblock plus 1.0.2 an Noscript 1.9.2.1
but always the same. Especially on this site: http://noscript.net/getit#devel
i am not able to block something with adblockplus.
In the Adblockplus window for blockable items there is only one line
witch says No Blockable items .
So there is a big bug in the last two builds of Noscript or something else......
I hope you are able to fix this.
In the mine time i use Noscript 1.9.1.91 this works fine for me.

Agreed.
Looks to be a bug affecting Gecko 1.9.x.
(Gecko 1.8.x does not look to be affected.)
