Is DNT+ compatible with NoScript?

Post by Alan Baxter »

I'm evaluating the Do Not Track Plus (DNT+) extension, primarily because it automatically installs and updates the opt-out cookies respected by many large tracking companies. It also blocks the scripts that are used by many trackers. I'm less interested in the script blocking feature because Adblock Plus with a privacy subscription covers that area pretty well already. DNT+ support thinks it should be compatible with NoScript. Has anyone experienced any problems using DNT+ and NoScript, or expect any?

By default, NoScript deliberately runs after other content blockers, like Adblock Plus or presumably DNT+, so there shouldn't be any issue with script-blocking. And cookies shouldn't have any conflict. Haven't tried DNT+ myself, though.
