Bookmarklets, non-trusted sites, Firefox ESR 68 and Waterfox Current

For example, the first bookmarklet at JavaScript Tricks: Edit Websites in Browser (Live)

The behaviour of Waterfox Current 2020.03 is – as expected – consistent with the behaviour of Firefox ESR 68.6.0esr (64-bit):
  • for an untrusted site, the bookmarklet does not work.
With NoScript 11.0.23 added to Firefox 74, the bookmarklet does work at the same untrusted site.

For this aspect of 11.0.23 to work (with bookmarklets) with Firefox ESR 68, as it does with Firefox 74.0: can a preference be set in Firefox ESR 68?

Or does Firefox ESR 68 simply lack what's required?

TIA

Bookmarklets are (partially) broken pre FF 69. They work now with some limitations.

(CSP is what NoScript uses to block javascript.)

Moving to NoScript General
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
