div.show?

Post by cyphorg »

Not sure if this is even an appropriate question to ask, but as NoScript is what made me aware of the site, I thought I would ask here. I searched on the boards here and online with no success.
NoScript is showing a script originating from the site 'div.show'. I can't tell what they are running, but it's just about everywhere (here for example). The source site is just a very simple splash page and the whois entry is almost completely redacted (other than country, PA).
Perhaps I'm being a little paranoid, but without knowing a little more about the source, I'm obviously hesitant to allow access. After all, that is part of the reason for having NoScript.
Anyone know anything about what this script is? or where it's coming from? anything at all?

Does it happen in a new, clean Firefox profile with only NoScript installed?
Does it happen in your main profile with all other extensions disabled, leaving only NoScript enabled?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

I haven't gone that far to check. When I get a chance, I'll look into the potential of a profile connection. I had hoped others might be seeing the site show up on their browsing. I suspect it is part of a hosting control panel package, but not just what it might be doing.
