No-script Ver:10.1.8.16 is glitchy?

I noticed ever since the last 3 updates very randomly some pages break and show some page coding. For example on Amazon.com when I'm browsing, suddenly the page will break showing some long page coding (appears to be html etc). The only other addon I'm using is U-Block Origin that's about it but I haven't made any changes to settings.

I'm sure it's going to happen again so next time I will screenshot the page.

More important would be to find the steps to reproduce the problem.

Could you provide your NoScript settings for the affected sites?

It is also quite possible that the problem is caused by NS and uBlock Origin not working well together. If you find reproducible case, please disable the uBlock to see if the problem remains.

That's the thing I don't know the steps to reproduce it. It happens so very sporadically. It's not annoying either. I'm also kinda thinking it could be U-block Origin causing it.

That's a great idea in disabling U-block. That didn't cross my mind. Great suggestion.

Things are smooth sailing now. The breakup of pages has stopped. I think the culprit was Ublock Origin.

Not a uBO issue, this was most likely caused by NoScript and fixed when it stopped using filterResponseData in this commit:

Suuuuure... ;-)

Anyway, good to hear the issue is resolved.

However, if you think gorhill has a point and feel venturous, you could try using NS and uBO side by side again, to see if they now play nice together.

Please do try it and let us know the results. If you can run NoScript and uBlock Origin side-by-side, you'll have better security and privacy than if you're forced to choose between them.
