Noscript not really working

Post by maildude » Fri Nov 24, 2017 3:57 pm

Hello there. Firstable I want to thank all of you who developed, contributed, donated to this absolutly awesome project.
Secondable, I want to appologise for this topic, as it has been discussed lately a lot.

I upgraded both, FF and NS. I am very very upset what happened with noscript. I appreciate new design but I am so confused!
I have no idea whether scripts on website I visit are allowed or not.
I have been testing this but I still can't manage to actually use my firefox like it was before.
I am scared to use internet since I upgraded.

When I make decision, for example click on Trusted button, I dont think it makes any difference. If I open options, there is a long, unsorted list of websites, some of them have "trusted" label and green lock next to it, others have "trusted" label as well but red lock instead. I have honestly no idea what to do with that. I accept new design, but please for god's sake make documentation for this or help me here, I have honestly feeling that my noscript isn't really working, or its working strange. (it has been updated within firefox, I assume all my old desicions should be still there active).

Also I VERY miss options to middle click on specific website to check safety reports.
Another option I miss very much is notification showing which scripts are allowed on the bottom of the screen (autohide after 2 sec)

Alt: is there any way to use old version on new firefox and just forget about all above? (i dont think so but still want to ask..)

thank you for patience and help. and mostly, for contributing to this forum and addon itself. Be safe.

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
