XSS Icon Slow To Appear

I'm finding that the icon can be slow to appear.

Taking perhaps close to 1 second before it displays. That is a long enough period of time that it can be missed entirely. Further, once the icon appears, it does not persist, but rather redisplays each time focus is moved to a different page & then back to the XSS page (or at least it appears to do that).

(I noticed this when checking the link found here, Does NoScript protect us here?. Opened a number of times in different tabs, originally with JavaScript blocked, & others with it Allowed, & then on others that I followed the XSS reload. Jumping from one to another to another & back seems to bring this to light.)

(PS: My computer is a bit antiquated, Sempron 3000, 512KB Mem, XP.)

I have experienced this too, I just figure it was lack of GUI display painting optimization but since you are seeing it too, it might be a more core issue. Hmm..

To add, the blocked scripts notification bar does seem to persist, different from the icon display.
