Suggestion: Global whitelist

It would be helpful if there was a global whitelist. Currently you can whitelist indidividual sites. But it would be more helpful if you can all a script for all sites. Another possibility is if you can download a db of safe scripts that noscript could check.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "allow a script for all sites". If you allow a domain, like googleapis.com, it's already allowed everywhere. What more are you asking for?

NoScript isn't going to have a database of trusted scripts. Sorry, it's just not feasible, not in harmony with NoScript's philosophy, and others like Adblock Plus already do it.

Are you referring to "Allow Scripts Globally (dangerous)"? This can be enabled via NoScript Options > Appearance, but as noted, it defeats much of the purpose of NoScript. Are you aware of the Site Info feature? See the bold paragraph in the middle of that FAQ.

We know that certain scripts we run across all the time is not malicious. So therefore it would be nice if we allow them all the time. It's a hassle having to unblock a lot of scripts to view a page. Not sure why a global script db would not work...?
