Suggestion: Global whitelist
It would be helpful if there was a global whitelist. Currently you can whitelist indidividual sites. But it would be more helpful if you can all a script for all sites. Another possibility is if you can download a db of safe scripts that noscript could check.

Re: Suggestion: Global whitelist
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "allow a script for all sites". If you allow a domain, like googleapis.com, it's already allowed everywhere. What more are you asking for?
NoScript isn't going to have a database of trusted scripts. Sorry, it's just not feasible, not in harmony with NoScript's philosophy, and others like Adblock Plus already do it.

Re: Suggestion: Global whitelist
Are you referring to "Allow Scripts Globally (dangerous)"? This can be enabled via NoScript Options > Appearance, but as noted, it defeats much of the purpose of NoScript. Are you aware of the Site Info feature? See the bold paragraph in the middle of that FAQ.rshimizu12 wrote:It would be helpful if there was a global whitelist. Re: Suggestion: Global whitelist
We know that certain scripts we run across all the time is not malicious. So therefore it would be nice if we allow them all the time. It's a hassle having to unblock a lot of scripts to view a page. Not sure why a global script db would not work...?

That already happens when you allow a domain:rshimizu12 wrote:We know that certain scripts we run across all the time is not malicious. So therefore it would be nice if we allow them all the time.
