Don't update so much
Don't update so much
I can handle waiting for bug fixes if it means I don't get an update from NoScript every other day. Can you wait until you fix at least 5 bugs or add at least that many new features before pushing out a new update? I really appreciate the add-on but some of these bugs just aren't pressing matters and I get aggravated seeing "new updates!" all the time. I know you just want it to be better for everyone but it's a little distracting. If I'm the only one that feels this way then I guess it isn't too important but I just wanted to voice my opinion.

Re: Don't update so much
The bug triggering this update storm was of the kind confusing many users, both newcomers and seasoned ones, therefore it couldn't wait.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Don't update so much
As a seasoned user of NS, I welcome and love the fact that when a bug is discovered, however small, Giorgio quickly fixes and makes the dev build available. The update is only pushed if it is critical or needs to address a large number of concerns. You may not share those concerns and willing to wait in which case I would suggest you disable the Firefox auto update feature and check for updates manually when you wish, otherwise, when the update or a fix is available, it will push as to serve the 45 million plus users in the world who rely on quick and reliable fixes from NoScript. On an additional note, updates for NS don't occur so frequently and are released on a pretty stable schedule, occasionally rapid fixes are necessary and may result in a large number of updates but its rare.

As opposed to always waiting for the second Tuesday of next month, like a certain unnamed software vendor.
