Re: GMail problem (#500)
Can you see it consistently and provide steps to reproduce?xerces8 wrote:I have 2.0.3.2 and today I again see gmail error #500 !koron wrote:With new RC, the problem is resolved.!
Notice that "500" just means "Server error", hence it may very well be a temporary malfunctioning on GMail's side.
Could you copy and past all the messages on the page?

Re: GMail problem (#500)
It is sporadic, just like before. So no steps...
Usually I just login to gmail, open a new (unread) email in inbox and after a while I get the error. I guess it tries to upload the information that the email is now in state "read".
What messages do you want me to paste?
There is only the regular GMail GUI and the list of my mail and a single error line at the top of the page.

Does it say just "#500" or something more?xerces8 wrote:a single error line at the top of the page.

Re: GMail problem (#500)
As you mentioned in your OP, it may be extension related.

If so, if you disable ...

Re: GMail problem (#500)
Same problem again today.
I disabled NoScript (as an extension) and of course it works again.

Re: GMail problem (#500)
I got the same issue even with NoScript disabled.
I will completely uninstall it and see if that makes a difference.

Re: GMail problem (#500)
Surely not: disabling is identical to uninstalling, except that the XPI file is not phisically removed from your disk (i.e. no code from the disabled extension gets to run).xerces8 wrote:I got the same issue even with NoScript disabled.
