New issue with version 1.9.9.50 in Firefox

Post by stulevine »

After updating NoScript for Firefox to version the latest version today (1.9.9.50) I now receive the following Error message in the Error console every time I load certain web sites. Not sure what is causing this but it happens with my own web site and yahoo.com for example. here is the error message I receive from my web site when I add one additional parameter to the URL. So for example http://www.somesite.com/?d=xyz works fine. But, as soon as I add an additional parameter like http://www.somesite.com/?d=xyz&t=index2.tmpl I receive this error message:

Error: not well-formed
Source File:
Line: 1, Column: 46
Source Code:
<body xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">&t=index2.tmpl</

When I disable NoScript the error message goes away. If I attempt to downgrade, the message still appears. I have not tried to uninstall and to reinstall 1.9.9.49. However, I am loath to do that and loose all my settings and permissions.

Please advise if there is a new configuration setting I need to adjust in this version or if this is a bug

Thanks in advance,

Stuart
