Hi
I was surprised how much faster booking a flight on Wizzair.com became when I disabled Noscript. Might be a good site for the Noscript devs to take a look at.
Thanks

It is even worse: wizzair.com refuses to show the content and displays "bot protection" page instead.
I'm using FireFox + NoScript.
If I try with MS-Edge, everything is fine. If I try FF, but switch NoScript off, than it works, too.
Please help!

It's working for me, if I add just wizzair.com as TRUSTED.
Could you check whether narrowing the permissions this way or, on the opposite side of the spectrum, disabling restriction for the tab work?
When you say it works on MS Edge, do you mean with or without NoScript?

Hi Giorgio
thanks for responding and can I say "Complimenti!" for Noscript -it's a wonderful piece of software.
Regarding Wizzair, even when I make it trusted, it's still incredibly slow moving from page to page. If you do a flight search and choose a flight and go through that sequence of pages, some of the XHR requests are really really slow compared to when Noscript is disabled.
I just thought it might be an interesting case for you. I'm using Firefox on Windows 10.
best wishes

Re: Wizzair.com very slow with Noscript enabled
From what I can see, there is an initial cookie popup...
Oh, that's real weird.
Initially, NoScript not installed.
Site loaded, cookie popup, & I can book.
Then I cleared all recent history.
Installed NoScript.
At that point, the site loaded "blank" (if you will, you could see various boxes & whatnot, but not text nor pictures).
I then allowed wizzair.com.
Same.
Then... it took a (rather) long time, before finally the cookie popup came up as did text & pictures in the boxes.
After that, I was able to book (by only allowing Wizzair.com in NoScript).
(Couldn't quit figure out how to set up the return flight, so once I get there, I'm there!)
I saw no issues with speed - once the site actually loaded (the text & pictures).

Double check that you are loading "wiZZair.com" rather then "wiZair.com".It is even worse: wizzair.com refuses to show the content and displays "bot protection" page instead.
The singular Z, wizair.com is something funky, that redirects... somewhere (but not to wizzair.com).
If "wizair.com" is allowed, one of the places it redirects to is "clickconfirmation.com", which gives you something like:
"CLICK CONFIRMATION Your click has been flagged as suspicious - perhaps you are clicking on lots of ads today?"
Other places you might end up are like:
https://get.safety-search.com/offer? ...
"Too many requests" ...
(FF's cookie manager is absolutely absurd. [I've mentioned that before.] Never in my life have I seen anything so brain-dead.)
