NoScript 11.2.12rc3
Firefox 94.0.1
Getting an imgur image page to work, e.g. https://imgur.com/eS7kwAr, requires allowing "js.media-lab.ai". But in my main profile media-lab.ai is not listed in the NoScript popup. If I manually enter js.media-lab.ai in NoScript Options > Per-site Permissions, the site works.
NoScript popup does show media-lab.ai in a new, clean profile. In my main profile it works as expected if I stop setting dom.serviceWorkers.enabled to false. I can confirm this in a new profile only if I allow imgur.com before ever visiting it.
Why media-lab.ai does not show in NoScript popup? Why does it depend on ServiceWorkers being enabled? Is there any way around this apparent dependency?
Thanks

Confirmed.I can confirm this in a new profile only if I allow imgur.com before ever visiting it.
Though if you refresh the page, at that point media-lab.ai does then turn up.
(Why? Don't ask me.)
Hey, you know, the latest & greatest. And 1,001 domains, and...
And, for those who still use real browsers - where imgur.com wouldn't work, otherwise!, https://imgur.com/beta/disable.
(With that, only imgur.com is needed.)
(Oddly, perhaps because of UA sniffing?, that doesn't seem to help in FF 94?)

(Can you believe it.
In FF, Tools [menu item] does not have a 'Cookies' entry.
I can believe it .
So what, you have to go to Settings | Privacy & Security | Cookies & Site Date | Manage Data...
And then once you get there, you can't even see the individual cookies, only the site name.
Well, gee.
Oh, & then, after you Remove a site, you then have to actually 'Save Changes'.
Unbelievable.
Well, I can believe it .
And then, even after clicking 'Save Changes', at that point, you're then thrown yet another - totally different type of dialog, saying that removing cookies is dangerous for your health, at which point you have to then click 'Remove', yet again.
That is totally absurd!
And that, I cannot believe.)

This is still happening in Firefox 99.0 + NoScript 11.4.5rc1, any update?

Re: Site required for imgur not listed in NoScript popup despite only NoScript blocking it
FWIW - I've seen this on multiple sites, and added them manually ... I feel like I've mentioned it here before as well, so I'll see if I left a dead thread somewhere.
However, none of them occur to me right now, but I've definitely seen it happen.
Curiously, if I load up imgur.com (just tested in a private window) I do get media-lab.ai show in the list ... of all the other domains, only imgur.com is allowed. However on an image page it doesn't show until I add either the secure or insecure media-lab.ai to the per-site settings.
That said, the link you posted in the OP, barbaz, works with media-lab blocked or default (same as blocked for me). I'm just trying to delete it to test without it there at all. EDIT - Yep, that link works (purely for browsing) without any media-labs.ai in my NS at all ... I'm guessing you must want to do more, there.

I'll just note; if imgur.com is not allowed initially, then both (needed) sites do show up.
If imgur.com is allowed (beforehand), then you need to refresh the page before media-lab.ai turns up.

& see if FF isn't eaten alive (>6.5 TB in my case), if your system isn't eaten alive.
Now this happens outside of NoScript, but it is simply absurd.
(I have no idea what those pages are.)

For that first gallery media-lab.ai showed up, btw. imgur allowed beforehand, no refresh needed.
