[RESOLVED] Per-Site Permissions

Post by Skeezix »

I have set one of the sites in my Per Site Permissions to temp. trusted. When I restart FF the permissions for that site do not revert to Default but stay at temp. trusted. On my system, the permission for that site is not temporary, it is permanent until I change it. Why is that?

Temporary permissions shouldn't even ever be written to disk, so they would just disappear with the volatile memory allocated to the main Firefox process, when it exits.
How do you restart Firefox?
Does the "Revoke temporary permissions" button on the top left of the NoScript popup work as expected?

Thank you for your reply. After reading your reply I dug deeper and found that I had "Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED" enabled.

I apologize for my initial posting. It was a "cockpit error" (as we say in the US... ;) ) and I should have looked further into it before I posted.
