NoScript 10.2.1, Firefox 88.0.1, Linuxmint 20.1
I point the browser to https://protonmail.com/; NoScript shows the site as 'untrusted'.
I click "Trusted" on the NoScript dropdown
I restart Firefox, then go to protonmail.com. Again, the site is marked "Untrusted"
I Mark it as trusted, then go to NoScript Prefrences > Per-site Permissions. Protonmail.com is shown as Trusted.
I restart Firefox; again protonmail.com is untrusted.
What do I have to do to make NoScript remember that protonmail is trusted??
Thanks
Harry

Do you have NoScript Options > Advanced, "Enable setting permanent permissions in incognito/private tabs" checked?
Are you using Firefox Sync?

Re: NoScript sets site as Untrusted, even though it is in the whitelist
The only selection in Settings > Advanced is "[x] Sanitize cross-site suspicious requests"
Firefox Sync NO.
I can not find a setting for "Enable setting permanent permissions in incognito/private tabs" anywhere. This is firefox 88.0.1 for Linux, remember.
BTW this is not the only site that behaves like this. I run xampp; http://localhost/ is set to default; http://localhost/mysite.com is still set to default, but the javascript on my page executes. Strange.
Offhand I can't think of any other sites that act like this, but there are others...

Sorry, I completely missed the NoScript version Please update your very outdated and insecure NoScript to latest version (11.2.7 at time of writing).

Re: NoScript sets site as Untrusted, even though it is in the whitelist
that seems to have done it; thanks. I had updates set to 'Default" instead of "On."
