DEFAULT factory settings

I’ve everything unchecked on DEFAULT-setting/option or whateveryoucallit but now I’m a bit tired of messing with the CUSTOM whateveryoucallit. Could anybody tell what the DEFAULT factory settings are?
I mean those under that CUSTOM in General tab in the options menu?

As far as I can remember there were some options allowed. Why just these? How much they ease your life and how safe they are?

BTW. I noticed that Google demands the “ping” to be allowed when its asks my (or their) permission to use their (or my) “services”. Why’s that? I’ve not seen that anywhere else?
