Have been happily using NoScript with Firefox for years.
This afternoon, however, that all changed. Whenever NoScript is enabled, all pages fail to load – the URL will appear in the address bar, sometimes the page title, but then nothing progresses.
When looking at the options, the "Per-Site Permissions" will also fail to load, and there is no impact from pressing the "Import", "Export" or "Reset" buttons in the extension settings.
I can disable and remove the extension and pages work. I can restart Firefox and then reinstall the extension and the problem returns.
I can't find any similar stories on the web, and have no idea where to go from here in troubleshooting, or resetting the extension.
Thoughts?
Sorry, should have added:
Windows 10
Firefox 77.0.1 (64 bit)
NoScript 11.0.31
Have disabled all other extensions, and have had NoScript as only loaded extension

Re: Firefox - NoScript prevents pages loading
Have you tried create new ff profile and install noscript in that new profile?

This, plus uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, has helped other users with similar problem.kiimanjaro wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 10:41 am Have you tried create new ff profile and install noscript in that new profile?

Re: Firefox - NoScript prevents pages loading
You're saying uninstalling/reinstalling the FF program?
No, you must mean uninstalling/reinstalling the NoScript extension ("program").
But then you do say, "Firefox"?
But how are the two intertwined?
Or is it actually ones antivirus (or similar) that is sticking its' nose into things?

Yes, an uninstall/reinstall of the FF program, plus a new FF profile, has repeatedly solved similar problems for other users.
