turn off refresh/redraw noscript 11.0.3 ff 65 win 7
I am observing that when I change some pages from trusted to untrusted, the page is redrawn in untrusted mode. Is there a way to prevent that? An example of a page that has that behavior is https://www.nytimes.com/section/todayspaper , which has the result of the loss of some elements. With legacy noscript, with auto-refresh turned off, that did not occur.

The loss of elements is quite natural when you disable scripting.
Unfortunately there is currently no way to disable the automatic refreshing. I too wish there was.
Only way to prevent the refresh from happening is to not change the permissions before you want them applied.
