Specific website video playback

Post by Pete68 »

Hello
First post to the forum, A credit to who developed this program.

I have tried finding an answer to my question, as to date been unable to find one. I have had NS for a while now and does work very well apart from ME not knowing what to enable for some websites to allow video playback. Oddly enough Youtube works without any of my interfering :D

Waterfox 56.2.10 x64
NoSript 5.1.9

The Sun.co.uk Unable to watch video, the rest of the site is fine.

Added TheSun.co.uk to whitelist
On the NoScript banner with options; Scripts partially allowed 17/29 (thesun.co.uk)

example link https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/9697066/ ... -gang-war/

Is there anything I can try to enable allow temporary viewing apart from disabling NS. There are many options in right click NS context menu. I have tried several none of which worked

Thanks
Pete

Don't know if they're all needed, but it works with these:

+thesun.co.uk
+blob:
+iris.tv
+d1z2jf7jlzjs58.cloudfront.net
+brightcove.com
+boltdns.net
+brightcove.net
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball NoScript FlashGot AdblockPlus

Thanks for the quick rely with help.

I could not find some of the list, what did work with your help were

+thesun.co.uk [ENABLED]
+blob:
+iris.tv [ENABLED]
+d1z2jf7jlzjs58.cloudfront.net [ENABLED]
+brightcove.com [ENABLED]
+boltdns.net [ENABLED]
+brightcove.net

I then clicked on allow news.co.uk and now everything seems ok.

Regards
Pete
