Trust root site by default per tab?

Post by ken »

I apologize if this has been asked previously, but after scouring the 'net and this board, I can't seem to find the answer.

I think I want NoScript to trust the root site by default; e.g. whatever's in the browser's address bar, trust it for that page.

Example: I go to foo.org, then foo.org is trusted on that tab, but everything else is as it is today. If I open a 2nd tab and browse to bar.net, which links to a script hosted on foo.org, then only bar.net will be trusted.

Is this possible?

If you visit foo.org and trust it temporarily, it is set to temporarily trusted until you either close the browser or reset your temporary permissions. Therefore, if you visit bar.org afterwards, foo.bar will still be trusted, unless you reset its temporary permission before.
