OneDrive problems

Post by Andre »

Great tool, thanks!
First time in history, I have a problem and I can't seem to solve it on my own, obviously.

When using OneDrive, uploading a file is not possible when NoScript is activated.
Globally deactivating restrictions will *NOT* help.
Instead I need to use the Firefox menu for add-ons, then deactivate NoScript, reload page, then files will upload again.
As soon as I activate NoScript again, files won't upload. The upload is started but remains on 0% forever.

This is reproducible and I tested with the free accounts (@outlook.de, @live.de) as well as with our company's enterprise account (Office365).
It first happened around October 2018, if that helps to pin it down. First I thought that it is something with Office365/OneDrive. There *always* is something with Office365.... usually...

NoScript is blocking something here, but whatever it is, it is not captured into the list of blocked sites/scripts, so I can not include any permanent rule or filter.

It would be nice to find a solution.
Best regards,
André

No issue here.

Email here, https://outlook.live.com/mail/inbox
Onedrive here, https://onedrive.live.com/?id=root&cid=ECGC040A96FE5E4C

I didn't bother trying to figure what domains to allow, simply Allow This Tab & dragged a file into the tab, in my "drive".

Different domains were needed for the mail end vs the drive end.

Suspect you're blocking something needed - outright in NoScript, or with a different extension (blocker).

thanks for the answer, "therube",

but it is definitely something which I can't surpass without deactivating NoScript.

I just now tested again.
- Allow this tab does not work, Progress remains at 0% forever
- Globally allow does not work, Progress remains at 0% forever
- deactivating the Add-on *does* work, files of all types and sizes are uploaded.

I am *not* using any other script blocker.
I am using AdBlockPlus additionally, and that was my second suspect right after O365 itself.
But turning that off completely did not Change anything. Turning off NoScript does.

This also happens with different machines, in different Networks, so it can't be related to one specific machine.

As a test, create a new Profile.
Install only NoScript.
Visit OneDrive.

Can you upload?
