[RESOLVED] "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit
[RESOLVED] "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit
I am always using new version of "NoScript" ... whether the final version or the development build, and I am trying to access the "development build" by accessing: https://noscript.net/getit. However, since two days ago, my Firefox (desktop and mobile) version 67.00 always shows "Server not found." I know that this particular site have been "trusted" on my installed version 10.6.2. What's going on? Please help.

Re: "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit
So you can't even open https://noscript.net or it's the direct download link that fails?
What output do these two commands in a terminal show?

Code: Select all
ping noscript.net

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at noscript.net.
If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:
Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.
Are these the ones you're looking for? I am sorry, but I am a newbie.

Re: "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit
It seems your DNS doesn't resolve noscript.net, and your network can't reach secure.informaction.com.
Are you using any weird proxy or VPN?
Does changing your network (e.g. tethering your mobile network or switching your Wi-Fi access point) change anything?
Are other devices on your network able to reach noscript.net?

Re: "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit
Now I can access "noscript.net" on my mobile by typing "https://www.noscript.net" ... by adding "www" but not on my desktop. However, accessing "secure.informaction.com" shows blank on both my mobile and desktop.

ping of noscript.net & www.noscript.net, both work.
ping secure.informaction.com, fails
download from secure.informaction.com, works:

Re: SOLVED = "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit
Thank you very much for everybody's effort. I finally found the solution by resetting the "rasberry pi" that's hooked-up to my router! I almost forgot about it that it is connected to my router to get rid of those pesky ads, websites that are using trackers, etc.
Now, all is well!!!
