I have been using NoScript for over a year now with very few (if any) problems. I am now using version 10.1.9.9.
After using Norton Security Suite for almost a year I removed it and am now using Windows 10 Defender. Now when I go to a website the NoScript icon briefly flashes its icon with a question mark on top of it, then the question mark changes to an exclamation point. When I hover the cursor over the icon I get a small message stating that restrictions are disabled. When I click on the icon it appears that all my customization has not changed (and that's good). This happens for all the websites I visit.
Why do I get the exclamation point?

Re: Exclamation Point on the NS Icon
In NoScript Options > General do you have "Disable restrictions globally" checked?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Re: Exclamation Point on the NS Icon
Yes, it is checked. It was unchecked. The only thing different, other than deleting Norton, was the Windows Update that took place 2 days ago.
I unchecked it (again)...
Thank you for your help!
