[RESOLVED] Max number of login attempts loop

When I put the login credentials into the username and password fields... I get this back.
You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below.

When I fill it in again, with a correct captcha, it goes back to the first login prompt with no captcha.
I went back a day later... and same thing.
my username is in fact johnrw
I was able to reset my password... but I can do little else here.
Help

On the mod side, that account looks fine, I don't see anything that would prevent you logging in. And FWIW you don't appear to be using a proxy or similar.

If you continue to have this problem, I suggest you email Giorgio.

This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

when i type ck for the captcha it loops back to the first prompt. Username and Password.

The crazy thing is that the website seems to have no time limit to reset the max login attempts.
Once you reach the limit, you are stuck there forever.

Are you sure about that? I see no sign of any password change in the mod logs for the johnrw account.

InformAction.com sent me a new password. It did not say it would expire... just a new password.
I would have to login to actually change my password.
