In the current case this didn't help.
Let's say this affected http://www.example.com, and we entered some parts of the domain name into the address bar so it showed up in the search results, and we then chose one of the results. Or we copied the complete url from somewhere and pasted it into the address bar. Then the outcome was:
- * In the instance of Firefox having Noscript activated and having this redirect stored, the browser stayed on the page it was before.
** If I opened the new tab and had the default display which Firefox displays on a new tab, then that was still displayed
** If I had some different url open, that url/page was still displayed
** Also the following was reproducible: If I deactivated Noscript, so I was able to load some page of the domainin question, then I activated Noscript again, and then I requested some other page of this domain, the browser stayed the page that was currently displayed
* If I started Firefox with addons deactivated and I requested the domain, it was loaded
* If I started Firefox with addons activated, and just Noscript deactivated, the domain was loaded
* If I started another Firefox profile not having Noscript installed, the domain was loaded
* In any other browser, http://www.example.com was loaded.
Is there some way to "repair" this without having to uninstall and re-install the Noscript?
