Loosing per-site-permissions on every update

Post by marcliemo »

Dear community,

I'm using NoScript since long time and shortly I switched to Firefox Quantum.

I installed the 10.x version of NoScript and I'm having a problem, that on every update of NoScript the list of per-site-permissions is lost and replaced by the default one.

I don't think it is a desired behavior. Is there a workaround?

Many thanks,
Marc

How are you updating NoScript?

It updates itself; Firefox does it.

Do other WebExtensions lose their settings when they update?

As a test, please create a clean profile. Install an old version of NoScript.
Using the Import and Export buttons in NS Options, import your settings into the clean profile.
Update NoScript (Tools > Add-ons Manager > NoScript, right-click it > Find updates).

Are your settings still there?
