Encountered this today (on Facebook) - clicking on the link below dumps voluminous HTML and the message "In order to operate on this tab, NoScript needs to reload it. Proceed? " ... doesn't matter whether I allow that reload. (Using current Noscript on Firefox 58.0.2 64-bit) ... displays successfully in IE. Haven't tried a bare-vanilla 58.0.2 (not readily available)
Only active add-ons are HTTPS-Everywhere and NoScript.

Re: Badly-mangled ... by noscript?
What is happening here is that the page has meta refresh inside noscript tag, that redirects to https://advocator.ngpvan.com/https%3A%2 ... Q2/ngpForm
For some reason that is beyond me, that url feeds you not html, but json.
So this is not problem with Noscript but very silly behaviour from the web page.
In order to properly access the greenpeace.org site through that link, you need to first enable scripts on greenpeace.org by visiting the site some other way (e.g. type greenpeace.org to urlbar ). After that the link won't redirect you.
However the popup showing "In order to operate on this tab, NoScript needs to reload it. Proceed?" that Noscript icon serves when viewing json is somewhat unhelpful. Maybe something more useful would be in order?
