NOSCRIPT not working with certain pages

Post by DM101 »

Hi Giorgio,

thanks again for your fast response to my comment here: https://hackademix.net/2017/12/11/noscr ... ment-40146 and sorry for my late reply.

As this is still not working I want to continue, as also suggested by you, this topic here in the forum.

Basically I am not able, even if I allow what you suggested to display the page correctly.
Unfortunately I am not able to upload a screenshot here (or did I miss something?), thus I hope the following works: https://prnt.sc/hv2dsv

Thanks

I can confirm that even by temp allowing all - it does not display the price. I even went through and did it manually (checking the proper domains, refreshing, repeat).

One thing I did notice is that we are both running macOS. That shouldn't matter, BUT it could possibly be a factor (I don't like to rule anything out). I don't have a fix for you, but can reproduce what you are experiencing.

Ok, after some further testing I have found the solution -

You need to allow 3rd party cookies in Firefox preferences: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy & Security

That fixes it.

8-bit: really amazing work - thanks so much :D :D

My setting have only allowed 3rd party cookies from pages I visited - which was obviously not sufficient.

Now I thought I may allow all 3rd party cookies - visit the nintendo page once and could then return to "pages that visited" - but that did not not work...so I looked in detail what executed the price command:
https://api.ec.nintendo.com/v1/price?co ... 0000000704 ..I added https://api.ec.nintendo.com to my exception list even if I do not allow all 3rd party cookies - voila now it works!!!

Thanks again!
