Well, my last request (3 posts ago, can't link it due to the anti-spam filter) is still active and unreplied.

Nope. This used to be possible with CAPS, a technology now abandoned.
It could be possible again, to a limited extent, with script surrogates, which are yet to come back.
In the meanwhile you could try something with Greasemonkey scripts.

In the "new" NoScript there is not any more possible to allow scripts for a subdomain from the menu.

For example, if I went to forums.xkcd.com,
I would have the choice to permanently or temporarily allow for forums.xkcd.com, or for xkcd.com.
Currently, I will only have the choice for xkcd.com

In the settings there is "List full addresses in the permissions popup" but that will show the full URL of each place I'm in.
I don't see the option to select subdomains.

And, generally, it looks like there are less options than before.
Why?

Currently that option does not exist. I too would like to see "Full Domains" option return.

Why?
NoScript Webext is basically a complete rewrite of NoScript Classic and a lot of features still haven't been ported to NoScript Webext yet.

Locking because the guide in the OP is long outdated and this thread is now mostly a crap magnet.

@blublevita: Thanks again for your contribution, if you'd like to update this guide for current NoScript please let us know.
