NoScript 10.x (FF 57): git.eclipse CR - Server unavailable

Post by LigH »

I want to read a "Code Review" page on the git repo of the eclipse project. Example:

https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/112548/

A confirmation box appears on three layers, gradually reducing an overlay opacity at each click:

Code: Select all

Code Review - Error
Server Unavailable
0
[ Continue ]
This page uses "Gerrit Code Review", but NoScript does not display related servers to be allowable, only "eclipse.org" as already trusted domain.

I wonder if it does not catch asynchroneously requested JavaScript imports. My only workaround for now is allowing all scripts globally to view this page.
__

P.S.:

It may have been fixed by editing custom options for the domain "eclipse.org" and explicitly allowing "fetch" requests. So, obviously, "allowing" a domain is not always a sufficient action, it may only allow static script downloads.

Are you (or were you) using NoScript 10.1.3rc2? If yes, probably related to this - https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... =7&t=23902
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Well, yes, the user interface and handling concept are still a bit unusual. Both sides are still getting experience. I'm confident of future improvements.
