When I open NS 10.1.2 options I get hundreds of items. The list
seems to be increasing indefinetly and finally the page freezes
and dims as if lights are going down. Firefox (57) other pages also
freezing but shuts down after about a minute or so.
It looks like it shows in Options page all my bookmarks addresses plus in addition to that all possible advertising pages quite unknown to me.
I removed addblockers etc . but no help.
When I click XSS FAQ or "clear XSS whitelist" whole Firefox crashes.
My OS is Ubuntu 16.04.
Good hints appreciated.

Re: NoScript freezing Firefox
I've been experiencing the same issue for a few days now. I just stopped using NoScript altogether, pushing my limits with Ghostery, HTTPS-Everywhere, and Adblockplus.
I think Giorgio has a had time reproducing the issue. This is only affecting those using Linux. There have been 7 documented issues including myself and yours. Check out: https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... =7&t=23627
We will have to wait for Giorgio to figure out what is going on.

Re: NoScript freezing Firefox
I'm having the same problem here. Recently updated Firefox and now whenever try to enter the settings not only it freezes from time to time, when i roll down the bar until the end, every time i try to exit the settings by going to another page, or a blank page, it crashes the browser and it isn't even able to send a crash report for some reason. I'm using both Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 7, both of them 64-bit, and this seems to happen only when i'm on Ubuntu. Another thing that happen is, it messes the screen all over. The browser gets all messed up, with parts missing or just paint black.
I love the extension and just upgraded my Firefox to quantum because it was available.

Same here. I wonder though, do you have any other add-ons enabled?Oklaroma wrote:I'm having the same problem here. Re: NoScript freezing Firefox
I do have Privacy Badger installed, as a substitute for RequestPolicy, but even when it was only NoScript alone on Firefox i was having the same problem. From what i'm seeing this may be a problem with the extension on linux. It doesn't seems related to the presence of other extensions.Guest wrote:Same here. Re: NoScript freezing Firefox
I do not beleive there is a quick-trick-solution available.
Giorgio and his crew are very busy with NS now and it will propably take for some time
before we get a stable and fully working version of NoScript.
I would call v.10.1.2 still an alfa-version.
