Re: NoScript and Firefox v52.0 breaks ebay / paypal checkout
As far as I can tell so far, the problem happens only if NoScript is installed and Firefox is operating in single-process mode.
I've tried on latest Nightly and NoScript 5.0.2, with just NoScript enabled: on e10s-enabled windows Ebay<->Paypal communication works fine, on non-e10s windows (opened through "New Non-e10s Window") I get the infinite spinning wheel.
So it seems NoScript breaks something, but only if e10s is disabled (possibly by an e10s-incompatibe extension: such as AVAST?)
Investigating further, thanks.

And yes, you're right: I turned on e10s, and the problem went away.

Disabling NoScript allows PayPal script on Ebay
The last two weeks I have been unable to pay for purchases on eBay with PayPal. When I select PayPal for the purchase the script brings up the PayPal login and I login, I have a security key I have to type in at the end of the password. I hit login and I get this little Circle going round and round in the middle of the screen, then all of a sudden the circle moves to the top of the screen and is half hidden which never happened before. Then it just stays there forever. I checked PayPal and it is logging in OK but after logging in it never ends the script. I tried changing all the different options in NoScript but could not find any that make any difference. To use PayPal I have to disable NoScript while on Ebay. Neither Ebay or PayPal will admit changing anything. NoScript on this Win 10 PC is 5.0.2 and is auto update. No other issues are with the PC.

Re: NoScript and Firefox v52.0 breaks ebay / paypal checkout
Hi All,
I found a workaround that works for me:
At the popup window were you can logon to Paypal there is a small square whit a small arrow on the right bottom at the frame. It means like "display full screen".
If you do that you get the Paypal logon screen without a frame and the logon is successfully.
I hope it helps

@kowalski Remember to log in before posting so that you can use your chosen username and don't need to repeatedly solve the CAPTCHA each time. (I've fixed your post here.)

I'm having the exact same problem with the jumping/infinitely spinning processing graphic, but I can't use @kowalski's workaround. There IS no arrow in any of the popup's corners. What now?

@AlexReynard Make sure you don't have an ad blocker or similar hiding it. If no such thing in your case then you can try enable e10s as Giorgio suggested above, assuming you don't need any e10s-incompatible addons while using ebay.

Let's see who fixes the issue first:

Disabeling NoScript or using ebay.at seem to be workarounds.

I need an hassle free browser, not an patchwork or permanent switch an workaround on / off.
Any PAYMENT must work as standard.
So waiting for an solution that works permanent...

When you are logging in to paypal and getting the "processing" window right click anywhere in it and choose "this frame" and then "open frame in new tab"
In the new tab the login works.
